Kindergarten is the time when The Pocket Early Education and Care is getting children ready for the shift to “big school” in the near future. The Pocket’s team of dedicated and loving educators are here to help your little one develop and fine tune those skills they need to get the best start on their primary school journeys.

With enough of a structured program in place that your child learns the skills that will help them later on in life, like literacy and numeracy, but still have the flexibility for them to follow their own individual interests, The Pocket’s programs offer the best of both worlds in regards to early learning.

Whether it’s using stationary or seeing to their own needs, like getting a drink, our highly qualified educators develop the skills and confidence needed to take on year one. We also offer help for parents struggling in this time of change; our team is always happy to talk and give some tips and advice when they can.

Our Kindergarten classes also try to mimic big school that bit more to help with familiarity and comfort by branching out into extracurricular activities during the week. Dance, sport, science, music, and Spanish are all offered as part of our program for Kindergarten at The Pocket and are included in the daily fee. Also included in the daily fee is freshly cooked nutritious meals and snacks.
